Sandi Shaner, MS
Sandi Shaner is a seasoned professional with an impressive blend of experience in nonprofit leadership, corporate development, and academic achievement.
Sandi's professional journey began in the corporate world, where she excelled in event management, sales, and business development.
Beyond her professional achievements, Sandi has pursued academic excellence with a passion for leadership, psychology and education. Sandi is currently a doctoral student at the University of Southern California. She earned her Master’s in Psychology from Arizona State University
Secretary/ Treasurer
Veronica Pannone
Veronica Pannone is the Treasurer/ interim Secretary of Carly's Cause, bringing over two decades of experience in bookkeeping and accounting software sales.
She has been a dedicated member of the organization since 2019, playing a vital role in managing financial operations and ensuring transparency in fiscal matters.
In addition, she’s provided freelance accounting and tax services for over 25 years. Veronica's dedication, leadership, and experience make her an invaluable asset to Carly's Cause and the communities she serves.
Bi-Lingual Community Outreach
Patty Dominguez
Patty currently serves as the Bilingual Community Outreach Coordinator of the Parent Support Group at Carly’s Cause DBA Ed Action. She is also an active member of the Community Outreach Committee. Her mission is to provide vital resources for parents of children with disabilities, particularly those facing socioeconomic challenges.
Patty is a proud parent of Jacob, and a devoted advocate and warrior mom. After giving birth to Jacob at a young age, she has dedicated her life to supporting his growth and happiness.
Director of Community Outreach
Jackie Soto
Jackie Soto serves as the head of the Community Outreach Committee for Carly’s Cause DBA Ed Action, where she plays an active role in advocacy and supports families of children with special needs. Jackie is currently working toward a bachelor’s degree and has plans to launch her own business, maybe even a nonprofit.
Jackie Soto is a proud parent to her son, Phoenix, who has hearing loss and autism. When answers weren’t readily available early on, Jackie was motivated to pursue a career working in classrooms with other children on the autism spectrum within a California school district.
